1.11 to SC/BW Released*

[s]battlenet[/s]Finally Blizzard has done something for the Starcraft community again. Ten minutes ago (3 AM CET) they released the new patch 1.11 that so many people have been waiting for so long. This patch changes 6 known bugs in Starcraft, like the flying Drone bug and the spinning Drone bug. That was an annoying bug that all Zerg players hated. And they have fixed the 16x replay speed so that it works in XP!
Korean text is now preserved when it is sent to or received from Battle.net.
Fixed a bug that hindered sound on NT machines.
Fixed a bug that enabled you to make a Command Center slide into a location by building a Comstat Station then canceling it due to lack of resources.
Fixed a bug related to a Drone flying when surrounded by other units.
Fixed a bug that would give you an assertion when you tell a drone to burrow as it is about to morph into a building.
Fixed a bug that caused Templars to fly across the map when interrupting an Archon Merge.
Fixed a bug involving a drone getting confused when receiving a second build order while in transit to complete the first one.

There can be some problems with downloading the patch from battle.net, so if your Starcraft crashes when you updating try to reinstall the game and download the patch from the link below.

I wonder also if there is any coincidence with an » article we published one week ago making public a massive guide of bugs by Canada deathknight and now the sudden creation of a patch fixing some of these bugs. Let me quote Argentina Entropy in that article:
"If BETA Testers had a super hero, his name would be Ðeathknight. Check out his site and all the glitches he has compiled. Blizzard Patch please!"
Unfortunately, as usual Blizzard never gives something without taking. All 1.10 with Zerg are now to join the fate of all those 1.09: Corrupted. I am left yet again with mixed feelings.
"A small patch for StarCraft/StarCraft: Brood War has now gone live on Battle.net. There are no balance changes with this patch, but it does implement some minor bugs fixes."
This is a quote from Battle.net

UpdatesI was looking around at Teamliquid.net and saw that LaZyFoO had posted a post about 1.09 reps; YOU CAN NOW SEE THEM!

"Well i'm sure most of you have heard the good news about 1.09 replays. Now that we can watch them again, i was wondering if anyone has any rep packs of 1.09 z players. Such as )Is(city, yellow, tsunami etc. would be appreciated. thx in advance."
