[s]maps[/s]A guy called Stimey has posted a topic at the » Team Liquid Forum, informing us about a pretty interesting map. It's a remake of the most popular map, The Lost Temple, and it has these new features:
It is now a two player only map.
The players are randomly spawned at the four original locations.
The only colors available are red and blue.
Six observer spots.
The Zerg player starts with only two larvaes.
The terrain is revealed by default, as in WarCraft III. Fog of War is on, though.
I had a hard time trying to figure out every positive outcome and what is so revolutionary about this map. The observer feature seems very comfortable and the map got very positive respons from others so I wanted to share it with you. Using the terrain revealed will, according to the map creator, give the map a total new dimension. The best way is to try it out yourself and see if you like it. Remember to give him feedback » here.
