SC falls in the Elite 8

Unfortunatly our beloved StarCraft has fallen to Super Smash Bros. Melee. We made a valiant fight towards the end and we were down by a couple thousand early in the day but we ended up losing by a mere 534 votes after beating The Legend of Zelda:Wind Waker by 171 votes.

I want to thank you all for supporting StarCraft by voting in this poll over the past few weeks. I think we have shown the gaming community that we are a poweful force in the gaming community. What will this mean for the StarCraft community? I'm not really sure but maybe we will see more and more leagues add StarCraft to their ranks.

Once again though, thank you for voting and helping StarCraft get as far as it did as a 16th seed full of powerful communities. I am very proud of you guys and am glad to be involved in such a great community as this. So, who will take the whole bracket for GameFAQs Best. Game. Ever.?

At this point it looks as if Final Fantasy VII will take it. I'll be voting for Super Mario Bros. 3 from now on, but I know we ruined many people's brackets from day 1. So excellent work community, and again THANK YOU for voting!
