I'd really love it if they did something different with MoP. We have had cata and wotlk now, which were basically the same.
I've played since release pretty much, with alot of breaks, some long and some short. Nowadays I always find myselft and my friends reminiscing about the old times where you actually had to do something to get gear. I played cata when it was released and we cleared the first raid tier pretty easily, though I found it fun while we progressed. After that I stopped playing for about 9 months, and only picked up the game again before christmas. Granted im in a very good guild and I play pretty much, I think its waaay to easy to get gear. Atm i have 4 chars with the lowest ilvl being the rogue who dinged last week, he still has 388-389 or something like that.
I think its just rediculous with the new LFR, even if I can see how it would appeal to the more casual player. You queue for 5-10 min depending on you specc etc, and then you clear the first 4 bosses in less than 1h, and then the same for the last 4 bosses. If you just do this and 3-4 heroics per week you will get full tier set and cap valor every week, its just WAY too easy.
Enough ranting though;
What I'd like to see is "real heroics", as in heroics like they were in TBC, not like they are now, where you can just pull a whole room and aoe it.
I'd also love it if they did something to arenas. I cant play more than 10 arena games in a row nowadays without raging, due to all the stupid stuff going on (blood dk's and whatnot). |
