Official SC2 Clan Recruitment (54610 reads, 72 replies, 1 year ago)
Clans should from now on use this thread for member recruitment. Please keep it up to date.

A good post should include the following (Only a suggestion, but the more info you throw in, the better it looks and you will be taken a lot more seriously).

What is your clans name, along with history of it. Website would be good if you have one. Have you accomplished anything or are you completely new to the SC2 world.

What is your goal as a clan? What kind of ambitions does your clan have. (Do you intend to play in leagues or just have fun)

What kind of a player/players do you seek? Skill level range, age of the player, time zone, location, voice communication and so forth.

Why should players join your clan? What kind of environment would you give people, be it friendly or professional.

Last words, got anything more to add. Put it here.

I would advice you to keep your post up to date. Let people know if you are still recruiting. This will help people and your selves in the long run as well.

This thread will be used strictly for Clans all other posts will be deleted.

First of all, we're happy to declare that alot of the initial goals we set up have been achieved. We have begun our journey towards the very top and started playing Clan Wars. We've been going strong for a while now and every day we feel that we grow as a clan, community and a team. The road we've been on since the end of June have made Property something unique, we've worked hard and are currently trying to get a new website up. It hasn't been easy but now we've finally decided to take the next, costly, step on our own since it really is one of our bigger goals at this time.
We've walked into a wall that's hard to bash through with new applicants. An interest to follow us is low at the moment. But we will break this wall down and thrive in time. That is a fact.

We've got loads of goals and ambitions (regarding our performance amongst other) that will be achieved and many that will be a race against time. We've had many changes lately and now Property proudly can present that Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3 actively will play Clan Wars and test our limits as often as we can. Property has 15 fine gentlemen that will do their very best until we got 10 more that's ready to show the world what they got.
We are however, though, no longer accepting players of lower skill levels - since all of our silver/gold players currently are residing in diamond. Practice and commitment gives experience, Property shows this with members high in the EU rankings.

We're looking for you that's ready to game (read; fight) to become as awesome as you possibly can and that also feels like you have something unique to contribute with.
Currently we want you, who is down with rankings, statistics, build orders and general understanding of the game. In short: you who are skilled and know you can make it high in the world of Starcraft II.

We will not follow you on your journey, you will be following Property as a team, a clan and a community. Together with us, you'll never be alone. We (as we always have) focus more than anything on personality and we wont blow sunshine up your ass just because you might be awesome at the game.

Property is a clan and a community that's growing for each and every day, we've already got a lot of the future intendedly noted down. We know how to make Property THE Swedish community where new and old players alike can turn to. We have made the foundation for a great community and team - let the building commence.

Please do note that we're only recruiting Swedish players as of now. Since we feel it is better to focus on one part at a time. In due time, we might open up as an international EU clan. But for now we're sticking with swedes.

Are you looking for the following?
- Competitive gaming?
- That little something that makes you want to become a better gamer?
- Cohesiveness? (unity)
- New people to play with and have fun?
- Scheduled and a still down to earth practice sessions with live coaching?
- Practice partners?
- In depth theorycrafting?
- Fun and messing about on VOIP?
- People who constantly are improving?
- Structure and planning regarding the clan?
- Do you want to get somewhere with your play? (Goals and such)
- Be a part of a clan that's run by everyone alike and not Stalinesque?
- Daily tours and/or events?
- And shitloads of more stuff..

News and In construction:
- New website
- Podcasts
- VOD's and a monthly vid with the best parts of the best games of the previous month.
- And shitloads of more stuff..

We're also searching for an active 2v2 team or people willing to learn and really gnaw on the bone of 'becoming better'. For more information about this, contact us either on Irc or the forums (read below about how to find us) and someone will direct you to whom you shall speak to.

NrG.NeverExpo
Hey guys,

Team NrG. is looking for a couple more gamers to add to our existing roster. We are looking to continue where we left off in BW, as a very family-oriented fun, tightly knit team, that also knows how to play serious when needed. We hope to climb the ranks in team leagues and make a name for ourselves, while keeping our values in mind.

We are looking for people who have been heavily involved in the beta, and also have history in BW. If you don't meet these criteria, feel free to work with us until you are up to our skill level.

If you'd like to post about joining, please visit http://teamnrg.vacau.com. Our roster is small, but we have a strong base of long-time members who will hopefully propel us to the top.

Thanks for showing interest in our team, don't be shy, come hang out with us!

US Server: Clan OverDosed

Clan OverDosed has been a staple in Battle.Net Clans since 2002, and is still going strong. Now, that some of our Brood War players are staying in Brood War, we are looking for fresh recruits into the new StarCraft 2 division. First of all, we are looking for any player Platinum and up, but if you are Gold, let me know and I will play you just to see if you know the basics and what not.

We are looking for mostly Casual players that like to play 1v1's and team games. We will also have a "Elite" group that will play in Clan Wars and do different ladders that happen to pop up in the future.

This is just some quick, brief information about the clan, but if you have anymore questions, just shoot me a PM and I will talk to you more. Also, you can add Azure.768 on StarCraft 2 and I will talk to you on there.

Hope to hear from any potential members.

The Nexus
We are a community of gamers that have been playing Blizzard titles since the release of Diablo in 1997. We currently are trying to create an atmosphere of competition and open play.

We host around two to three tournaments a week, have a forum, and an IRC channel (we're trying to get a large base of players together for the implementation of clan support for Sc2)

http://www.clan-nexus.org
#TheNexus on Irc.Gamesurge.net

We're seeking any mature players who are interested in exchanging real Ids, playing in tournaments and constant 1 v 1s and who are interested in playing the game together.

Team Sportscoat (TS)

Here’s the deal. We want to play Starcraft 2. We also want other people to play Starcraft 2 with. Thing is, we’re not super star players, and we’re not expecting super stars to sign up. We’re just average Joe's looking for other average Joe's to play a game with and get better with. We have a website (teamsportscoat.org) and a vent server. We originated as a WoW guild and recently began branching out into other games, Starcraft 2 being one of them. Suffice it to say, Team Sportscoat is already an established gaming community and an active one.

Out of respect for your time, we’ll just go ahead and drop this little list of personal requirements here:

* You strive to be Gold or higher in one of the ladders in the future.
* You are actively looking for a group of friends to play the game and improve with.
* You will be playing on the North American server.
* You are least 20 years of age.
* You must work and communicate well with others.
* You must own a working microphone and Ventrilo.
* You are willing to put in at least 10-20 hours of Starcraft with the team a week.
* You are available to play in the evenings. For example, around 7pm/8pm CST/EST.

This isn’t a huge list, but it is an important one, and we are serious about it. Now, for a few points of clarification. “Working well with others” entails that you’re able to adapt and work with team mates in matches. Helping your team members practice, teaching and discussing new strategies and helping each other improve...you know. That stuff. The microphone is NOT an option. If you want to play a multi-player game with this community, you must be able to communicate with multiple players. Evening play isn’t required, but is encouraged. You can play on your own time with your friends all you want, but if you’re going to be a part of this community it’s expected that you make an effort to play and interact with us. We don’t feel that’s too much to ask.
Above all else, we expect at least some small portion of respect. This is our house, don’t track mud all over our nice carpet. It’s expensive.

Hello everyone,

I wish to welcome prospective members to Clan Starcade,
a newly formed Starcraft 2 clan.
We're accepting new member as of today!

* What is Clan Starcade ?

Clan Starcade seeks to bring a fun and social gaming atmosphere, where
both new and more established RTS/Starcraft 2/Broodwar players can
face off against each other, or just socialize together on our
decicated forums and/or IRC channel.

Our gaming philosophy is very simple: Clan Starcade is about playing
games and generally having loads of fun with online friends and
clanmates alike. Members can freely participate in official ladder
competition at their leasure, but Clan Starcade is equally determined
on providing newer players with a friendly gaming environment where
they can be matched against people of their own skill level. Providing
them with a tight gaming community will enable tactical feedback as
well as simply a greater range of friends to play against--two
features which the current ladder system of Blizzard Entertainment
doesn't always easily provide or support.

In a nutshell, we believe that the social aspect of a clan is equally
important to the playing of the game, and that clan membership
therefore shouldn't feel like a "second job" or some obligation. The
focus should always stay on the fun factor!

* What's in this new Clan for me?
Clan Starcade is about offering its members a social online gaming
community, where it is all about playing starcraft and hanging out,
having fun and hopefully getting better at the game.

Also, since the Clan is currently in its formative
stages, now's actually the best time to sign up and become a part of
the decision making process, since all future leadership positions
will eventually be assigned through a popular vote among the members.
Join now and participate in shaping the Clan !

* Are there any conditions for joining Clan Starcade?

We grant membership to everyone, as long as they are:

1) Over the age of 15 and
2) Aren't a former member that has been kicked out for whatever reason

* So how do I apply?

Just follow the instruction on
http://www.clan-starcade.org/index.php/join-us and you're in!
Glad to have you!

eVasion is looking for good players (eu server)
we REALLY need a good terran as well as a good 2n2 team to play successfull in SC2CL and Stammkneipe league.

At the Moment we are in Clanwars 8-0.
Our Results in SC2CL (we just play 5th league but wanna go at least 2. league) are 5-0 with full five 6-0 wins so our top 4 lineup is good but we have no backhand player and also would like to have more challange in the top4 ;) more challange more train ;) as always
To Join and Play in our Lineup you should be at least ~1600 Diamant but skillwise ;) no need to have the stats just the skill ;)

in our 1n1 lineup we have 3 protoss and 2(3) zergs so we REALLY need terrans !!!

www.my-evasion.com (finished page comes soon)

icq: 224080714
msn: Florian_Hoyer@hotmail.com

you should be at least 16 years old but i prefer 18+. The main of our team is german but we also have frensh and lithuania players, also we are mostly between 21-35 years old ;)

our team have very active players who train alot so u will never have problems to train if u like to play in the evening ;) (most of us working people) or weekends.

from skill we are diamants with some better players who even defeats dimaga and tarson in tournaments ;) so train should be no problem with the expect that we have no good terran in our 1n1 lineup !
