SearchMaNia- joins SK; CalculuS leaves

After recently playing with his Danish compatriots as a stand-in, Brian “MaNia-” Strandby now officially joins the roster of SK Gaming, replacing the departing CalculuS.Having spent the majority of his professional career in MYM under the leadership of Maelk, up until the team disbanded after The International, MaNia- recently returned to competitive action alongside Maelk and some of their other former teammates in the team known as Problem???.
However, that name would prove to be somewhat ironic if rumours are to be believed, but despite whatever truly happened, its evident the two have now gone their separate ways.
No reason has been given as to why CalculuS has been removed from the team.
MaNia- reveals his feelings about joining his new team:
"I'm really happy to be able to play alongside these wonderful Danes in SK Gaming. It has especially been a wish to play with Angel and miGGel again, who I played with in Ravens which became MYM. That has been the main reason to join this specific roster. Also both Link and Ryze are really nice guys, and I know they have been rising stars in the Danish DotA scene for a while now. I hope I can bring something extra to this already strong roster. I will definitely do my best to represent the SK tag the best I can."
MaNia- is widely regarded as one of the most consistent performers ever to grace competitive DotA. Having achieved numerous titles and victories over the years, his addition will bring invaluable experience to the SK squad as they seek to dominate competitive Dota 2 in 2012.

| GO MANIA!!! He was my favourite player all the way through the "MYM era"  Good luck in the next year, can't wait to see him playing with SK. He was (and is still) is one of the best utility players in the european scene! |

| Mania you're just a special man in this environment. I asked you if you were joining SK yesterday and you said that there was nothing decided. It's good to see some guys still keeping things low. GL with SK. I believe that CalculuS is a great player that knows how to draft and support but well... you should be able to fill that gap. Let's see how things go. I'm expecting to see more of Calc soon enough. |
