Over the past few days scattered reports of Starcraft 2 Beta accounts being reset surfaced, which are usually the harbingers of a full database reset, and now it has been officially announced by a Blizzard forum poster. Get ready to play your placement matches again!
We’re preparing to perform another full StarCraft II beta database wipe in the near future. This reset will once again wipe the following information for all players:
Character and identifier
Friends list and Real ID friends
Achievements
Profile
League placement
Ladder rank
These database wipes allow us to test release conditions as well as to help remove any old or incorrect data as we continue to patch the testing environment. We want to once again thank everyone for their patience and continued help and support in testing StarCraft II.
