SearchStars War China: The groupstage begins

The Stars War Chinese qualifier is at a fever pitch as the groupstage began, featuring the creme de la creme of the Chinese scene to battle for 3 precious spots in the global finals.
Two days ago, Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li, the most successful player in the Chinese WarCraft 3 history, was elected by fan vote to proceed to the Stars War finals without having to play the qualification rounds.
Only three players out of an armada of 32 will catch up with him to form the Chinese pool in Stars War global finals.
The competitors have been distributed in 8 groups of four. The best two of each group will proceed to the Ro16, which consists of another group stage round. The eight qualified players will then take part in the playoffs.

| ahhh... Sky got woted in.... what a shame. People are too afraid that he won't be able to make it from the groups. :P I would vote on Fly. His online performance is not the best, so he is in a bit of a disadvantige, but offline, he is nearly unstopable!! |

| #13 like I told, I would vote for Fly. Skys gamestyle is too boring. Allways the same shit. Exp, tower a lot, camp until 3/3 gryphons and than atk with 80 food. I'm not telling, that it is easy to exp against a good orc, cuz it is not that easy, but it is boring to watch. If not this, than he is only tower rushing the enemy, what is getting quite boring too... And the worst is, that Infi is doing the same shit too. :( And you never know. He could fall of a group. There are a lot of players capable to defeat him. If there would be a match between Sky and TeD, I would go with TeD. Or TH has beaten Sky many times with his elf, even if he is not showing his best performance lately. : ( |

| lol DSAQ, first of all sky uses 2nd tier strat very often, plus first tier tower rush and sky's rush are very different to begin with, and you don't want people to vote for sky who uses 3 strat and vote for every orcs who only have 1 strat? the only thing orcs does different is 2nd hero |

| #17, Sky only towers and go 3/3 griffs vs orcs. Don't blame him for that. A human T2 army simply cannot stand up to a BM/SH T2 army (which is like the only orc strat). If you watch him play other matchups, you'll see him do different things like copters/mortars vs elves, tanks vs ud, etc. Can you even name a current successful human player other than sky or infi? I'd much prefer Sky's play over Infi though. I do agree Infi is a real tower abuser. |
| Yeah, it makes really the difference if he towers on t2 or t1. It is the same boring shit. Atleast, there is some fight there. But against orc, when he is camping behind 15 towers, and orc can only creep. Than comes a 2 min. fight and it is over. Well, this is quite boring for me. |

Go win a million games with that style and I would still watch his game, just to see other good players got pwned, and a lot more of guys like you complaining about towers. And talking about sky could lose to anyone in his group? Lol????So what? He is still a two times WCG champion with a second place in WCG 2007, who could make that achievement? Not to mention even he is not in his best form he still beat the shit out of Grubby along with many other good players, and took the first place in IEST. PS:More lol about the "sky could fall of his group", Grubby might, Sky? Hell not..  |
