GosuGamers is a computer game community with 110,000 visits per day. The community, which has existed since 2002, focus on high quality eSport news and user created materials for the best-selling games by Blizzard Entertainment: StarCraft and WarCraft.
While the main office is in Malmö, Sweden, the people, also known as the “GosuCrew”, who work with the website, are from all over the world. The GosuCrew consists of more than 60 people who moderate, publish and polish the contents of the site, making sure it’s up to day every day of the year.
We believe that in electronical gaming, as in any sport, fair-play, sportsmanship, respect, and good manners are important. Further establishing these values in the online gaming community is the vision of GosuGamers.

 RaistlinPatrik Hellstrand Head Administrator Patrik Hellstrand (25) has been working with GosuGamers since 2004. He is responsible for all the content on the web site, as well as administration of the company, marketing and sales. Together with Jonatan Littke he started the company behind GosuGamers back in 2006. Patrik started as an editor on the site, after outgrowing his position as the section manager at Gamingeye, a Swedish gaming site. He has been involved in several eSports organizations, leading GosuGamers crew with hosting high profile tournaments for World Cyber Games, DreamHack, KODE5 and ESWC. Patrik has studied IT with focus on Local Area Network systems. On his free time he likes to go boxing, play guitar, watch and occasionally play football. |

 McBatLukasz Grzelak StarCraft leader Lukasz Grzelak is not only the leader of the hectic moderation team, he is also the caretaker of the StarCraft section. Making sure the predecessor to StarCraft 2 is taken care of, Lukasz is one of our hardest working templars. Except for his life in GosuGamers, he is an attorney at law. Fitting for a moderation team leader, no?  KongoTimeUlrich Hanten DotA leader Ulrich is as of December 2010 the leader of our flagship section, DotA. The dedicated Austrian had for a long time been responsible for the replay flow and moderating the forums. With a finger in almost everything on the section, KongoTime was the perfect leader to take over the section in late 2010.  AthildurGiel-Jan Ottens Heroes of Newerth leader Athildur joined up when GosuGamers hosted the World Cup, and proved an important piece in the organization puzzle. Originally thought of as a moderator, he quickly took initiative and showed his drive and passion for the Heroes of Newerth section. Giel-Jan is 24 years old from Enschede, Netherlands. |

Gosu = A gamer with superior gaming technique, good manners and sportsmanshipGosu is Korean and litterally means "a high hand" (as in the person who has the upper hand).
On the internet, the term is often used to describe someone with great skill in head to head games such as StarCraft and WarCraft III.
The opposite of Gosu is Hasu ("lower hand") - a so-so player.
GosuGamers use the term to describe a person who has superior gaming technique, good manners and displays great sportsmanship.
We do not claim to be of that standard - far from it - yet our ambition is to set it up as a common goal for the members of our community.
We yearly nominate the "Gosu Gamer of the Year" in StarCraft and WarCraft.
