it can run any game but laptop will probably be overloaded
that game uses a lot more cpu/ram/gpu power then sc2

Ok well since we are on this department
question:
I am using this laptop:
Intel pentium i5 2410m 2.3ghz
Rams: 8gb
Video card: ati radeon 6490m

Here is the thing: i can only run dota 2 at about 60% quality, i even put some things on low ..anything past that makes my game not run so smooth.
I know its a laptop and probably a PC with the same config would run it better, is it normal to only run at about 60% quality with this laptop?

Yes, but it all depends on how smooth you want it. 60% on a low end graphics card in a laptop is quite good.

You can also choose to use a smaller window (lower resolution) in order to balance out higher settings. But personally I would only turn on graphics options that affect gameplay and use a higher resolution.

@5 Idk whats up with that..
I had a laptop i5 2nd gen
4gb and intel hd integrated card (not dedicated basically) and dota2 ran fine at almost max settings..

Right now I use laptop i5 3rd gen - lenovo z540
8gb and nvidia gt630 or something i think (its not very good) + intel hd card..
and it runs at max settings... Even portal 2 runs at high-end settings..

maybe i can try to update my drivers? idk...
I don't really mind it...i prefer high resolution and lower graphics as #6 said, but i think it should run better.

And on the topic, 2 gb ram is a bit low, u might wanna buy 2-4gb more, ram is very very cheap now...
