they need a stable roster first, its always been korok + 4

korok has the skill and experience to against world's best carries like xboct, zhou, burning, sylar

burning can't play solo miders? I don't think you remember EHOME 2010. burning was always the sf player and he always played it mid.

he also beat yaphets 1v1 sf and there's a vod of it somewhere on youku.

he also played rhasta mid during eswc 2010 vs teg

Why do you compare those 2 players anyway? I personally like them both, but its still a comparison between NA and Chinese Dota.

First off, CLG had a terrible lineup against AM.

Second, the 3rd game was the most non-aggressive game I've remember seeing. People complain about Chinese vs Chinese games, but everyone in the chat, both in Ayesee's stream and the in-game client chat were complaining about game 3 Quantic v CLG being the most boring, uninteractive game they've seen in weeks. About 4-6 deaths in almost 20 minutes... That's like 1 death every 4-5 minutes. Antimage didn't die once in that time, and barely any effort was spent on slowing him.

CLG dug their own graveyard with that passive strategy combined with their lineup which had no hard stuns other than Tidehunter's Ravage.

All of that sets the perfect environment for an unimpeded Antimage to go wild.

That isn't to take away from Korok's farming. It's was great. He took advantage of the opening CLG practically threw at him, and for that he definitely deserves recognition.

Btw, I don't think XBOCT belongs with Zhou, Sylar, or Burning. He only really begins to compare with top carries when he's AM or Void, because when he plays those, NaVi gives him lots of space to farm uncontested, as any other team would do. Even pubstar carries can do well in those condition He's pretty bad or mediocre with most other carry heroes.

Note that for a team that got 2nd place at the International, XBOCT still ended up with lower average GPM than Pajkatt, even though CLG lost the majority of their games. Sure, playstyle matters, but there's a limit to how low you can go. Ignoring CLG's slow playstyle, the tower gold from those NaVi victories alone should have given XBOCT a huge advantage over most carries.
