I guess you all know the game.
I heard a rumor there is a patch where when u play in multiplayer all players can move at the same time so you don't have to wait for each other's turn.
U only wait for each other's turn when it is possible to encounter a different player on the map.
Anyone has any idee of what i am talking about ?

I played a lot of this mode (aka simultaneous turns) in heroes 5 expansion and must say it's improving the first part of the game great, but then usually it stops after 3-10weeks (depends on mapsize) till the end and players play 1 after another. Also if u are "pro" you sometimes send many heroes with some small armies to beat creeps on the way and it ends way faster, week 1-3. However never heard of it being available for h3 and would definitely try it out cause i still play it on hamachi

You might be thinking of the "Ghost Mode" which is in HOMM 5.
Not quite: ghost mode is different -
Spoiler
Simultaneous turns =
Spoiler
For H3 - if it was more than just rumor - S. turns would improve ANY multiplayer and finally make 4-6 players games damn playable (cause of waiting time reduction).

#7 very true, it's a very fun game to play in multiplayer, but anything more then 2 players is madness and gets ultra boring since u play 3 mins and wait 10.
So i guess it is just a rumor...yes?
Do any further Heroes games have this implemented?
I guess heroes 5 has it since #2 answered me.
But does it work good ?
And is it worth swaping the classic fun Heroes III for it's latest versions ?

The Fearie dragon quest is also a little luck based if you have the resistance skill. My hero had Logistics, Resistance, Sorcery, Earth and Air Magic, Wisdom, Armory and one skill I forgot... must've been something passive on the background like Scolar or Intelligence or Leadership...
My suggestion to add to #13 is to save before every fight. Do the fight 3x and save all 3 the outcomes then pick the best one and delete the rest of the save games. Repeat this... and yeah Iron Golems are by far the best choice.
