what makes heroes like furion, leshrac and especially dark seer a very valuable first pick in competitive matches?

Can anyone explain to me the differences of dark seer on dota 2 from dota 1 aswell? thanks :)

a) Why are these 3 heroes even picked ??
That is because they are the most flexible heroes. You can push. You can defend. You can team fight. You can farm easy and get your core items in most games irrespective of how early game is for you.
Heroes like these are valuable. Dark seer is most valuable because he can actually use all the advantage that the enemy has gained until that point against them. Its a sick sick ultimate that.

B) Difference between Dota1 and Dota 2 / why are they picked more often now !
As far as i remember Furion and DS were used quite a bit even in dota 1. And DS got his aghanims upgrade that made people rage quit. Also Hand of midas was given a buff in the recent past. Prophet really uses that item well and it really opens up his game.
For leshrac, i think the buff to Blood stone and the nerf to buy backs really helped her. And the fact that in Dota 2 , her attack animation is apparently better. And the fact that people want to push more nowadays

not many heros in the game have global presence and even fewer have the type of global presence that furion provides which is he can literally be anywhere on the map.

the next closest heros to him are wisp and tinker but both have more drawbacks to their global presence than furion. wisp has to be reverted back to his original location after 12 seconds plus must bring someone with him for the port to be effective and tinker needs a 2.5k item b4 he has access to his global presence plus is restricted as to where he can port.

all this plus the current meta seems to be heavily push based makes furion an extremely valuable hero in today's game.

Funny that you can't see why these heroes are imba.

DS; He got 4 imba spells - Vaccuum; Repositioning 1-5 of your heroes, thats broken as fuck considering it's not an ultimate. Ion Shell is every hard-carry players nightmare in the early game, specially if it's a meele hard-carry vs longlane ds. Plus you can jungle with this spell very efficiently. Surge, 522 ms for some seconds rapes any slow like Lanaya's trap and venomancer aids. His ultimate is nc, I'm more confused than a pokémon on gameboy when I get vaccuumed into his ultimate with 4 allies.

Furion: Pusher, semi-carry, Superman etc etc. He can tp anywhere on the map with the new explored map. Treants good for pushing / jungling. Plus, having a furi on your team means +1 for every battle in a tri vs tri situation (M5 won vs Na'Vi coz pegege had a dd furi tping in in some final).

Leshrach: Anti-pusher, Pusher, high-dps spell. Anti-push with lightning, push with eddict (raping a hero in 2 sec with eddict :D) and his ulti is pure OP if you got a good start with Lesh.

Don't know whats the difference between DS in DOTA 2 compared to DotA but the hero feels easier in d2. Lasthitting is a lot easier with DS d2. :P

All heroes worth fp or fb imo :P

the thing with ds is that his laning, his teamfight ability, his chasing power his escape mechanism are too good one of this thing needs to be nerfed. Imo simple arm nerf would be great. lesh and furion are just very versatile hereos

They are all versatile and can fit into any line-up, whether ganking, pushing or turtling.
