Hey everyone, NinjaX here with a quick guide. The strategy is based on using Bounty Hunter to shut down Lycan. This piece of knowledge is passed on to me indirectly from Dendi. You basically sit in the jungle and last hit all his farm until he becomes so weak that he can't even do anything mid-game. I can imagine some counters to this strategy like sentries, but I think there are ways to play around it anyways.

nope, you fail, you are so poor while lycan is richer. if lycan lvl6 go lane, micro the wolf to farm in jungle, you will be behind.

One more thing, you cant stop the lycan push with bh.

fail imo, best counter for jungling lycan is well placed ward and constant gank to the jungle

Beastmaster is a good counter - you scout w/ Hawk & his ulti goes through Lycan's BKB (so does Batrider's).

You just destroyed the meaning of BH as a hero!
If you're a BH player, you don't care at all about enemy team having Lycan. What matters the most, is that how much exp are you getting. The best lane for a BH is soloing a hard-lane, once you hit the level 6 around 6-7 mins, just go roaming like a mad man. Your team will make a comeback even after 10k gold difference.

the point is to hold him down on exp mostly, for the first few lvls. having a bh following him in the wood is a fairly weak option ! if they jungle him bh wont face more then 2 heros on lane which basically means he can easily solo the short lane. this way you can have a jungler aswell in enemies territory and make lycans life hell. you win 1 lane for sure + lycan cant farm + bh can exp at an ok rate. solo lane outcome is up to your picks. this way you wont lose a single lane by default. the only thing you need to care about is the enemies transition into push when lycan gets lvl 6-7.

Pretty decent in the early stages of the game. But I think wasting 2 sets of wards blocking off the creep camps is a much more efficient way of delaying Lycan. You can level way faster with BH in the long lane.

let's assume that both will have level 6-7 in min 15
now think again idiots what can do a gondar lvl 6-7 and a lycan level 5-6 ( let's say 6 )
in the video that lycan didn't had his vladi in min 15, and bh gets 2-3 kills with track also assists ( don't forget track gives your allies bonus gold )

but as some idiots from here said that this is uselss, IT'S NOT!
it's working in ms/ms+ clan wars maybe and fine on pubs ( WHO THE FUCK BUYS DUST/SENTRY FOR YOU and keeping bh forest you'll have 2 forest and 3 on lanes, assuming that you have 1 on forest or 4 on lane your team will have high rates of succes )
now go fuck and suicide! sometimes it's working sometimes not!

finally watched this. it's really insane how fucked up lycan was after, lets say 7min into the game, when he finally finished his first group of the small creep camp. can only imagine how he was smashing his keyboard at this point.
on the other hand he was really narrow minded to believe you would leave him alone after killing all his stuff. if he grabbed some exp on a lane or get of a pull, while his mates cover him it would have been a different story.
however, gj and good entertainment value.

Seriously, all this flame is uncalled for.

Its a pub idea obviously, and its to have fun in a pub. It will be more fun if you do it with a team of 5 though. I did it last night with 2 friends, the lycan went into ragemode cursing all his teammates for not helping him lol
