Well it may seem weird to some of you but I haven't used an antivirus software in my PC/Laptop for the past 4-5 years. Never needed one.
I don't visit stupid malicious websites nor do I download stuff from unsecured links.
It might be surprising but both my pc and laptop are giving the same service as they did when I got hold of them.

Still for recommendations. I have AVG(official version) in my office laptop. Its pretty good. Though I heard almost everyone saying Kaspersky beats anything else.

I liked AVG, then they changed some things and I found it buggy/unreliable, then I started using Avast.
I would now recommend it to everyone. It scans the system before the startup so infections cannot activate (most, at least). I haven't had even a slightest problem since I've installed it.

My Kaspersky license ran out few days ago (R.I.P), then I found Avast, now there's no turning back.
