hows splash dmg calculated? does it affect by the armor of primary target?
if it does then medalion could be a good item after phase boots?
-6 armor gives 26% extra dmg on creep (assume 0 armor)
also quelling blades?
+32%??

1k investment gets +60% dmg return?

Yes.. i forgot to mention that the 135% cleave is with BF . The Tidebringer is a 100% cleave spell that deals pure damage .

Yes, the splashed damage is pure. That means if first target takes 500dmg, rest will take 500 dmg, regardless of their armor. If first only takes 20 damage, same goes for the rest then.

Quelling blade doesn't work with Tidebringer , it's just increases the damage dealt to the primary target (Dota 2 ) . In DotA quelling blade doesn't work on Kunkka at all .

Gotta get Tardhunter up in this *** to clear some things up.

The cleaved damage is not pure, it is enhanced.
Pure is blocked my magic immunity, enhanced isn't.

Also, some things have changed.
Splash damage doesn't take into the account of how much armor the primary target has, to deal that damage to the rest of the units.

It will check for every units armor separately.

tl;dr: It doesn't matter if you hit a unit/hero who has lower armor (i.e. the ranged creep) to make your splash do more damage.

Here are some links to confirm it.
