Yeah it's pretty much the same. Worse and worse every year, lots of events no one cares about, fail streams, never listen to the community.

until there's a legitimate governing committee or commission that will overlook and enforce the rules and regulations of each individual game, nope.. i wonder if they will ever establish a International Esports Commission.. that would be awesome..

I think for pretty much all games, it's closer to what soccer is in the Olympics. It's something that would just be there, but there would be as good as no prestige or interest in it. Just like WCG is now.

Furthermore, the E-sports scene is changing too rapidly (i.e. new games appear, old games die out). 10 years is considered an ancient game in E-Sports, while 10 years is considered a very young sport in the Olympics. This doesn't really need to be a problem, but personally I'd prefer some continuity.

If the community can be mature enough maybe it will happen... Also if teams can be more professional like appearing on matches in time. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH

WCG use to be that back in the days when people understood that WOW and Halo were not top tier competative games... now WCG puts up half of the games no one cares about. Also qualifiers are no longer world wide.
