i have a usb netgear on my desktop and that's my main connector to our internet but it doesn't give enough speed on my desktop..

and i didn't found any internet cord that's long enough to connect it from the router. cuz the router is on our living room and my desktop is in my room.



is it ok to get my own internet on my desktop? because i used to play a lot of online games and i can't play any online games right now which is sucks.....

p.s: our internet mbps is 18mbps.

Why don't you put the modem and router in your room and make everyone else use wireless.
