Question about Rubick.
It just came in, so normaly next week he will be good to go for Captains Mode. Isn't he still banned in CM mode in Dota 1 ?

Thoughts?

No he isn't banned in CM mode in DotA. And yes he will be good to go for Captains Mode if they stick to one week test routine. But I think they might want to work out all the bugs first.

Well when i started playing DOTA 2 he was banned still in DOTA 1. For how long has he been CM mode in DOTA 1 ?

He was added on 6.74, so around march I guess, not sure tho.

in ph we normally use rubik as a suport on CM mode in local tourney here. together with ogre sven ES or something that is melee suport too.

rubick not so op as people think, in cm.

rubick in fact never gets past first ban phase in chinese dota, which means he's pretty op.

I don't understand though why he was implemented be4 heroes like Visage, Dirge, Naga, TA, TC, Ezalor

I dont believe phoenix is that op, neither is shredder. They are good heroes but the money and level put on other heroes are equivalent.

I also dont believe it will ruin the game, new bans will enable more heroes to be picked. Like when they added pandaren, now he is picked or banned almost every game.

Lycan have been banned almost every game, so it would actually be fun to see him get picked more.

rubick can steal druids spirit bear with all items ..very balanced

Steal bear is not that easy, he can instanly cast rabid after calling bear. And stealing ultimate like Black Hole or Ravage is more game breaking imo.

Rubick is fun like Invoker. So although they are very powerful, they will stay around for awhile before nerfing I guess.

Like i didn't enjoy a single hero addition since forever. Last remotely interesting hero added was Eredar..... [>_<]
