Duskbin has gotten another high tournament finish - being crowned as the 1st Join Dota Open Champions from Southeast Asia.

Earlier this month, they finished 2nd to Zenith (Singapore TI2 team) in The Evolution Grand Final in Singapore.

For those unfamiliar with the Asian Dota 2 scene:

What are your thoughts of having Duskbin as the 3rd SEA team to be invited to The International 2 (after Zenith of Singapore and Orange of Malaysia)?

Would you like to see this Pinoy team in the International 2?

There are better teams worthy of being invited. Duskbin in Dota 2 just fights against most unknown teams lookat all their wins. Only notable wins in the 21 they won are against Mineski Infinity. The rest (Aeon, Neolution etc) are just low tier teams in Dota 2 Pro Scene. They haven't had any worthy wins yet to prove that they are capable of handling high tier teams such as Orange, Zenith(they lost to them) and maybe MUFC. They also havent fought the Chinese much too with the most recent one with them losing against newly reformed WE. They arent in any famous leagues at all such as JD Masters, PD2 League, TPL, Starladder (absolute legends is participating, why cant they?) and so on.

So no i dont think i would like to see this pinoy team in TI2. I'd rather see teams like Moscow 5, mTw, mouz, Wolves which all of them have LAN experience against other teams.

Duskbin are most likely going to have to earn a spot in TI2 through the EAST qualifier.

Don't you guys think it's a stupid move to leave out PH in the International? The amount of Dota players there is insane. Duskbin ain't that bad as well, they've proved to be somewhat decent considering the fact that they switched from HoN.

Since many pinoy like dota, I think Valve may give them a slot though apparently MUFC, AEON, Ice > Dustbin & Mineski. 4 CN teams, 1 Malay team, 1 SG team, 1 Philippine team looks reasonable. And MUFC, AEON, Ice, WE and Tongfu will have to compete for the last east qualifier.

I think inviting teams just because dota is popular in their country is biased and stupid. Who cares if pinoy got many dota players? They don't have any good ones so they do not deserve a spot.

Go win some big teams on big tournaments, earn your invite fair and square with stable perfomance and results.

TI2 does not only consider the strength, but also the marketing.
