Personally I think it's AWESOME! First time I went in I thought I was gonna die from laughter, then I noticed... hey this is a really cool way of getting away from all the "darkness" that's in the game and just do something completely silly and still kill stuff and get loot!

Of course I mean the rainbow level! I just didn't feel like writing it in the title for those who dont want spoilers! Have any of you done it? What do you think about it?

Anyone agreeing with me? ^^

Basically it works like this.
First you need to gather all the items needed for it, leorics shinbone, mushroom, liquid rainbow and wirts bell. The bell costs 100k. The other items are farmable. Then you need a pattern for the blacksmith that drops off Izual...without it you can't make the staff. Normal version is called Staff of Herding, then nightmare version is Nightmarish Staff of Herding and Hellish staff of Herding.
The normal version costs the mats, bell (100k) + 50k gold to craft. Nightmare version costs "normal" staff + 200k gold... and hellish one costs nightmarish staff + 500k gold. I'm not sure about inferno one as I havent killed Izual nor diablo on inferno yet ;P
(so up to hell staff, it costs 3 patterns (izual drops first one but u can buy the other 2 after defeating izual on each difficulty ofc and the pattern off vendor is cheap) and all the money (850k) + the small items which u need to grind for)
The map is smaller, contains rares ofc and uniques can drop same items as the difficulties (including legendaries). Personally I have the hellish version and I have definetly earned back the money by now...though I have also farmed it.
The staff stays in your stash/inventory and u can use it as many times as u want so u dont have to do like in d2 where you had to get the book and wirts leg every time u wanted to go into the cow lvl.
The loot for me has been good, tomes, gems, rares and legendaries have dropped...tbh I've dropped better stuff in there than running normally through the acts
Only the mobs are kinda hilarious and have cool names
and the sound of them when they die is hilarious
