Is it a bug or Spectre is no longer be able to go pass trees / up cliff despite having dagger buff on her? I just tried it and she phase past terrain only when she's on the dagger path but is unable to do so when shes off the path even though she has the buff on it.
If i remember correctly in wc3, she should be able to do so as long she has the dagger buff on her regardless shes on or off the path.
Can anyone clarify this ? Thanks in advance.

from http://www.playdota.com/heroes/spectre
The Spectre launches a deadly dagger that trails a Shadow Path. Deals damage to the targets in its path. Units hit by the dagger will also trail a Shadow Path. The Spectre becomes phased (gains zero collision) while on the path.
so i think its intended, that spec can only phase on the path created by the dagger ...

Apparently this is how it worked in Dota1.
Source: http://www.playdota....ad.php?t=236192So here's an interesting tip: you can go through any trees while you have the Dagger buff, not just the ones in the Spectral path. The Dagger buff lasts 7 seconds after you step on it. Note that this is not true for cliffs, though. You can only pass cliff paths which have been darkened by the dagger.

It was deliberately changed in Dota 2 so that you can only traverse terrain while on the path itself. From what I understand, the reason it worked like it did in DotA was because of engine limitations, and it was actually intended to work like it does in Dota 2 now.
