Trads Bkb Dagger EB BF nd Lifesteal... if not why?

For Dk rush Treads and HotD then you go straight BKB. Everything after that is pure luxury. HoT, Armlet (situational), Daedalus, Assault Cuirass

Same with #8 but go wand not stick, and bottle first ofc and now go PB + Janggo + Blink + BKB + Manta + TP Scroll ALWAYS.

it all depends on the game ... there are some games u dont even have to get bkb .If ur farm is good enough early on rush manta.Assult is pretty sweet on shadow fiend Blink is a waste of money for me if you want to win unless u are raping them hard early on and u want to keep on farming enemy heroes.
Item choices:Fly/SKadi/Mkb/Daedalus/Ethereal blade/Linken/Bot/Any orb effect(unique attack modifier)
Veil works pretty sweet on shadow fiend as well but I suggest some sup ally getting it.

bkb must do for shadow fiend bottle also i think power threads still best for him but in longer games you can change it into BoT

The otther items just up to you.I think Ace's idea would be very good.VoD+2 razes +some physical damage!!!!
