I am one of the "original pros" of dota (during the rise of NA dota and the emergence of European Dota), I guess you could call it.

So...back to the main point... I'm studying abroad this summer at Yonsei and was wondering if there are any dota players around? I figured it might be a good way to kill some time if I get bored.

I have no idea where to put this and google led me here, so I followed google's orders.

You should query TenBird on Quakenet IRC. I think he is Korean Dota player, so he should know something about the Dota scene in Korea.

I know some koreans and they are bad. Dota aint a big thing in korea as i was informed.

I don't even remember the name of that Korean team that prominently used axe before he was used anywhere else. The leader had a really long and thoughtful interview about the process of getting good at DotA (and any team based sports) though. The only other "Korean" player that I have really seen succeed in the international scene at some level is Chu but he isn't really Korean, proud of his blood as he apparently may be.

weird. i think Chu is from the seattle area? pretty sure I played with him before he blew up..

You mean Heen the Korean mastermind? He is from How.Korea if i remember correctly. And i remember that before he was playing for... xD or xDT dunno which one is correct. xD/xDT is one of only two dota teams from Korea i guess.
