Hey guys,

I have a monitor connected to my laptop, and sometimes this causes issues.

When I first played Dota 2 (~ in October), it worked perfectly fine. But then the problem appeared that my mouse walks out of the monitor where Dota 2 is running into the other monitor. Same happens in window mode, the mouse leaves the window, obviously making it unplayable.
I wrote Valve a tech support about this, but they only auto-responded...

I don't understand why it would work in the beginning and then stop working after a patch, and then how it can go unnoticed or unrepaired so many months...

The obvious solution is to disconnect the 2nd monitor whenever I play, what I do, but it's annoying that they don't fix it.

Anyone having the same problem or knows how to fix it?

greets

A lot of programs can lock mouse to window.

@Volzotan:

Use the following "code" as launch option:

(-console) -window -noborder -w xxxx -h xxxx

While xxxx referring to your resolution. Like: 1280x720 (-w 1280 -h 720)

Also tabbing in and out once or twice, if it happens, might fix it.
I haven't come across that problem since months.

The only thing you need to do once you are actually in game is just alt tab once and then back to dota and its fine. when you are still waiting for a game or are in the home screen or whatever its called you will be able to go from one screen to the other. While if you are ingame itself it should be fine (and like i said, if it isnt then just alt tab once and tab back in and sorted!)
