This strategy has worked for me 3 out of 3 times with bounty hunter... it works great! Try it out!

No, not really, but lots of people are and they would probably like to know how to play.

Work in some low level pub games.

A good team can counter ward easily, and use Bounty Hunter to hunt Lycan in the Jungle is very risky. Can kill him 1 or 2 times if lucky but will lose gold and Exp in lane too and Lycan still > Bounty after that.

Lycan is strong but not really too hard to handle in team fight if you couldn't stop him farm early. Have a strong carrier yourself, others should have hex, force staff, ghost, blade mail.

Being invisible at level 1 is not risky unless you are at the top level of play. k?

This counters any wooder by the way ;) in a cw-scenario with lyc (once hes enabled in cm) in woods it would be foolish not to get a set of sentries for your team insta though. A smart pubber would buy it for his first 200 aswell!

Do you understand what I said? If BH leave lane to hunt Lycan and unsuccessful, he will lose XP and gold. It's risky because of that.

Even if you don't successfully gank him you can still push him out of the jungle and force him into his base which makes him lose time.

Time is one of the resources most dota players don't think about, unfortunately.

Yep, it counters most of the junglers, and yes, if they are smart they will pick up sentries when they notice the camps are blocked.

It's good. Might try sometime though we usually get someone who can initiate before lycan can transform or get bkb piercing items which is usually his first item.

As far as I know the best way to counter Lycan is to pick Beastmaster.

His hawk will allow you to scout the enemy jungle to spot Lycan who during early-game is vulnuruble to ganks as he has no escape mechanism. Instead of warding the woods and spending additional gold on static vision picking Beastmaster allows you to pretty much negate Lycan's farm if your supports gank him.

Furthermore, the ultimate of Beastmaster is one of the besy way to counter Lycan because it goes through BKB, which means that if you are playing w/ scrubs who fail to gank the crap out of him early on you can still have a decent chance in winning mid/late game.
