Hello,

following scenario: Your opponent pushes your outside towers with heavy pushers (rhasta, veno, chen, etc.) and you have no chance to win the upcoming clash, because you have practically less antipush (pudge, trax, etc.).

Would you stay in your base, let them take the outside towers and try to get some trade on other lanes OR would you try to defend the towers, even at the risk to lose all your heroes and get teamwiped?

I would stay in the base and keep farming the waves coming, because the risk is simply too high to lose all your heroes. Of course, it gives your opponent a gold advantage, but giving them hero kills feeds them even more. Though a very critical situation.

No post like "OMG fail picks" or "pick differntly" or sth else please. Lets keep it like the situation is like I explained.

Why bother heading to teamfight when you know you will lose? ofc tower trade is the best option here. However, a good team with good line-up can push really fast, then tp defend their tower. It's hard to say since it depends on line up also, try to farm as much as you can (tower trade, jungle, etc) then find an opening (smoke gank, Roshan, etc) delay enemy pushing to base as long as possible for your carry to farm up, i assume you have better late game heroes, otherwise fail strategy or outplay.

PS: (assume you lost all outer towers, enemy is trying to push the base) forgot to say, try to save buyback for many heroes as possible (use quantity to beat quality :D ). Also try to avoid creeps pushing to base at 3 lanes at the same time, it is the worst situation since you might have to split def or they win 1 teamfight = mega creeps.

Coming from 1.6, I have only two words: exit kills.

Instead of thinking of what to do in that situation why don't you come up with a plan on how not to fall in that situation again.

The answer is don't let yourself get outpicked, next time get some descent anti-push and don't get heroes like Pudge & Trax because there are better picks out there.

#4 Consider yourself playing alone vs a stack. What do you expect the picks?
^Not really.
