Makes me quite sick to see the loyalty in some of the people in the Dota Community. When a team is doing well, they all bandwagon behind them and support them and as soon as even ONE loss versus the BEST team in the world occurs, they start flaming saying they're shit

Hey guys watch Col's other 25 games and see their amazing teamplay and decision making. You guys want this game to grow and become a real ESport. Start having loyalty and stop trolling 24/7. Maybe people will take this site seriously.
this has happened throughout dota 1. You fans want the players to act respectful and be committed to the game? Why not show them respect too. CoL has been practicing their ass off ever since Dota 2 Started and has showed amazing success. They have never even SAID ANYTHING remotely suggesting they have egos. They are modest and all nice people and players.
They are here to play and have fun and not show themselves off.
So why not instead of flaming, learn something from them?
That dedication and professionalism and manners pay off. To CoL this was just a loss and probably gives them even a stronger motivation for their next upcoming games.
DotA needs more Fluffnstuffs/ixmikes/tc's etc and then maybe this community won't be taken as a joke and rise up to Starcraft 2's Success.

You want to change human nature on this forum or what, I mean this happens everywhere, doesn't matter if it's the most popular competitive sport(soccer) or the last e-sport followed by 50 people ;) Some people just like to hate/trash talk flame, get emotional, enjoy life impulsively and don't see behind their words. Don't know they can hurt others or they simply don't care.

Loyalty is one thing and Hype is another

Both known to this very community and its members. In the long run, hype runs dry, loyalty and quality survives. Dota for the better or for the worse so far hasn't been as competitive regarding top places as SC, where players take turns in winning Championships, it has been Na'Vi and MYM, or in the older days it was VP, DTS, MYM, Rush3d, SK.

Teams in Dota 2 try to change this, play well, try things out, hype is created.
In the end of the day though, it all comes down to whom is better, his history, therefore yeah, a team with a past, is more likely to be harshly judged when underperforming, until it rises again. A newer team though, will be harshly judged, and it has to prove it can rise again.

It's not true, the dota community is so huge, it's not the same people that cheer for one team to then switch instantly when they lose. They are just happy when their team is winning and want to write/comment, but when their team loses they don't want to write anything so it looks like they "switched" loyalty.

I really laughed when I saw "Dota" "community" and "loyalty" in the same title.

if you would have taken a look at top lane around 10min mark you would see that they have really bad team play, because the veno(mikey) didnt hit the range creep once, so that his carry teammate could get it. yes.
