Ok, I have 2 laptops in mind
1. HP Proobook 4530s
http://www.mega.pk/l...Ci5,4GB,-640GB-).html
2. Acer Aspire 5750
http://www.mega.pk/l...spire-5750.html
I am not really sure which one I should get, my desktop can't run it on a great frame rate with everything setting on low and resolution set to 800x600, I turn the res. up a notch to 1024x768 and the fps drops by 20 frames and im running an i3 with a cheap ati radeon card( cant remember which model and i cant check right now) with 4gig ram. Help me pleeeeeeease or suggest something better within the budget($800)
kthxbie

I wanna ask too but didn't wanna open another thread.
I currently have a laptop that can play Dota 2 on 24fps (kinda bad but it's playable) and it's broken. I've decided to invest on a desktop
Processor :Intel Core i3 2120 (3.3GHz / 3MB Cache)
Chipset : Intel H61 Express Chipset
Memory : 2GB DDR3 (upgradable to 8GB)
HDD : 500GB SATA2
Graphics : Intel HD Graphics
Is this good and can I play games like MW3/BF3/Skyrim? Not necessarily on High quality as I don't really care about those things. Please help me and thanks!

Well i just bought a new laptop and i was watching 3 of em where one was the HP Proobook 4530s. They pretty much told me that thats not a gaming laptop and will start overheating if played constantly. Also that ACER has better graphic card so I'd pick the ACER.
I got i5, 4gb ram and Geforce GT540m and got no problems with dota 2 at all

#13 That is a really bad deal. No optical drive. Just 70GB HDD? Average GPU for $1.3k.
Since you are in Canada, NCIX is the best tech shop for you. For $1.3K, you will get a lot more powerful gaming rig.
Here are some builds for $1k from Tom's Hardware:

http://www.tomshardw...u-ssd,3027.html
With the extra $300, you could upgrade to 8Gb from these two builds, buy some game titles, etc.
