The second day of play in Korea saw the first of the Western teams take to the stage, but they were not treated to a warm reception.
REUNITED took to the stage in the second series of the day against relative unknown team RunAway. The series did not start well for the European squad, with the first map on Ilios going heavily in favour of RunAway, the team being torn apart by Haksal's Genji. This dominance continued throughout the series, with REUNITED unable to handle the Genji, and were convincingly dispatched 3-0.
Not the start that Western fans would've wanted to see, but it's still early and there are a lot of games left to play. It summed up a short day of play as earlier, CONBOX T6 cleaned up Mighty Storm in a convincing 3-0 as well.
This was the second day of competition, with the first seeing two really close 3-2 series. The very young Flash Lux were able to eek out a win against Rhinos Gaming Titan while BK Stars took out Kongdoo Uncia.
