Swedish player Legendaren looks very strong and out to impress as he dominates one of the tournament favourites 3-0 in the first Gfinity semi finals match.
Favouring combo decks, Legendaren gave a brilliant display of just how devastating these decks can be when they are drawn perfectly. Tom60229 was left as much as a spectator as everyone else watching the event as he was helpless to react to the pressure constantly coming at him from the other side of the board.
With Patron Warrior, Maly-lock and Oil Rogue, Legendaren seems to have a very good setup for going into the finals and had a brief chat with GosuGamers about how he has found the competition so far.
So Legendaren you are the first finalist at Gfinity, you must be happy with that.
Yeah, I'm pretty excited.
How do you assess how you've played so far?
I think I've played great most games but made a few mistakes, especially in the off stage area.
Well at least Lothar wasn't there to crucify you for any of those. You've done well enough to get to the final, how did you prepare for the tournament?
Well I played a lot with these decks before and I didn't think the meta would have changed that much and I just made a few tweaks to them.
Looking to the final, do you have any preference on who you want to face between Hawkeye and Unskiller?
I guess if I want to win, I want to face Hawkeye because my lineup counters his lineup.
And final question, what's next for you after this?
I'm not sure just yet, but I'm hoping for more events.
