UCC LAN finals are set to begin

The following weekend will see the LAN finals of Uprise Champions Cup season 2 being played in Moscow, Russia.

The second season of Uprise Champions Cup will come to a conclusion this weekend in Moscow, Russia. The Moscow Cyber Stadium will be the host of the largest Russian tournament for CS:GO and Dota2 featuring a total of 200,000 rubles as the prize pool.

The online portion of the CS:GO tournament featured twelwe teams which were distributed into the two groups. They were battling it out in the round robin format where the top placed teams got a direct ticket for the LAN event, while the second and third placed teams of each group had to go through the Placement tournament to secure their spots for the finals.

Piter and Vega Squadron topped their groups respectfully, while ACES and USSR grabbed their tickets through the qualifying Placement tournament. The LAN finals will feature a single elimination bracket where the teams will play semi finals and the grand finals as the best-of-three series. However, the third place decider will be played as best-of-one game.

LAN finals schedule - Saturday, May 23rd:
10.30 CEST - PiTER vs USSR - Bo3
13.45 CEST - Vega Squadron vs ACES - Bo3
16.45 CEST - Third place decider - Bo1
18.30 CEST - Grand Finals - Bo3

Prize distribution:
1. 1000$
2. 700$
3. 300 $
* An extra $1,200 will be given away as a travel support for the teams.
