The Fantastic Five shocks everyone with a 2-0

From winning just one game last season, SF5 exploded into Spring with two impressive wins.

Early game started strong for SF5, beating MLE outright in lane. To make matters worse, Jungleology's Evelynn was able to easily slip in the lane and gank due to her passive. Chock on LeBlanc wasn't able to do much versus NIXWATER's Orianna, and fell behind in cs early. Gony's Tank Gragas, an ongoing trend for the Viet teams, bullied Yukz constantly.

Jungleology snowballed even further by taking a page off Gambit's Diamond and building Spirit of the Elder Lizard. With a strong AoE engage from Vigoss and Gony, who built Brutalizer and Hexdrinker to form an interesting AD Bruiser Gragas, followed by the burst of NIXWATER and Minas, SF5 simply trampled their way into victory as MLE was not able to bounce back in any way.

SGS had great start as DDan and Chawy were able to get ahead in kills and farm for the team. Kryonics and Harleyular were having a strong showing as the new bot duo, and BenW was a good match versus Gony, who played Tank Gragas once more versus a Renekton. SF5 had a mediocre laning phase, which led to loss of map control at the beginning of match. NIXWATER, who brought out an Anivia, was able to help SF5 weather the storm with his strong wave clear.

However, bad decisions by SGS, such as fighting at choke points, made them lose their entire gold lead, as SF5 got their groove and fought much better. The chain of cc by Nautilus, Annie, and Anivia, couple with the displacment of Gragas, allowed Minas to get to the power spike that Jinx needs to decimate her opponents. In a massive turnaround, SF5 defeated the Sentinels, ending the game with a godlike on NIXWATER.
