The Korean-powered squad of MVP triumpher over Team Acer in the grand final in eight maps to bank the ten grand cheque. Third came Millenium, followed by Team Liquid in fourth place.

MVP's strong run in TeamStory Cup started from the very first rounds. The team showed consinstently solid play to finish first in the regular season with 11-5, one point ahead of Axiom who would later forfeit their spot in the playoffs.

Once in the offline portion of the tournament played in Krefeld, Germany, MVP continued to dominate the other teams, beating Millenium with 5-1 and Team Acer 5-3 to arrive at the grand final. Acer would later join them for a revenge match after stomping Millenium in the losers final and a start was given to the closing series.

IEM Katowice runner-up opened strong for the Koreans, taking three maps in a row against Bly, Scarlett and MMA before finally being stopped by long-time Acer member Nerchio. The Polish Zerg took another map right after that against WCS Europe champion Duckdeok to put the series to a one-map difference.

From there, the match transitioned into a map for a map scenario which meant bad news for the green team. As Super barred Nerchio from a three-kill, Acer revived Scarlett to avenge her fellow Zerg player but the Canadian lady was in turn ousted by MVP ace DongRaeGu who pinned the final 5-3 and brought his team $10,000.
