It would appear that Koreans are still very hard to defeat even when away from their homeland. MMA and Losira finished with a perfect 5-0 in their groups, dropping just one and two maps, respectively. MMA's final victory came in the match against July where the SlayerS terran bunker rushed on Xel'Naga Caverns and winning a hard macro game in the second set on Metalopolis. Losira, on the other hand, had an easier time against Major, banebusting twice to climb to the Pool D throne.
In Pool C, Thorzain managed to put an end to Idra's perfect score and defeated him twice in a row and securing a third place in the group for himself.
The final pool game for this night was between Fenix and Slush, as the Zerg was fighting for a chance to push Naniwa out of the top place in the group. Unfortunately, he fell down 1-2 to the Peruvian terran and thus finishes second in what ended up a very close group with four player having a 3-2 score.
