There's no place like Chengdu, China

WCG is a unique tournament in many ways, not only because world class gamers from around the Globe compete for juicy cash prizes, but also because fans only get to see a mere snatch of group stage matches.

This is, of course, more upsetting for StarCraft fans, rather than WarCraft, as there is no doubt the three Korean stars: Jaedong, Bisu and Stork, will easily make it into playoffs and we'll be left with another Korean rumble. So our only chance to follow national heroes - Group stage, will be, as always, half-arsed.

Pain, suffering and excitement aside, here's the schedule (click to enlarge):

Over the course of the first three days we get 9 WarCraft matches, 8 StarCraft matches and some Counter-Strike, Crossfire and Red Stone also in the mix.

The fourth day, or sort of the first mass playoff day has been enlightened with pure awesomeness of Carom 3D, a hardcore game for people who find it too exhausting to play the actual Billiards. As always, all playoff games will be broadcast in their entirety.

With China hosting the event, there are concerns of laggy streaming, but WCG streams have always been just dreadful, so i wouldn't worry about this one being any different. You can download this schedule (in PDF format) directly from official WCG website by following the link below.
