Riot Games will be donating one million USD towards three humanitarian non-profits as well as battle pass proceeds.

The world has stood still to watch in horror as the country of Ukraine battles for its freedom against the Russian Federation. As the war still rages, Riot Games has come out with an official statement in the form of providing humanitarian relief efforts. Riot will be donating one million USD towards three humanitarian non-profit organisations:

  1. International Medical Corps

  2. Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders

  3. Polish Red Cross

It doesn't stop there, however. From March 5 - 12, all proceeds from battle pass sales from Valorant, Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra, as well as the new League of Legends Bee skin line will directly donated to prove humanitarian relief efforts in the region.

As esports and politics will eventually collide once more, Riot is stepping up to the plate in terms of providing aid where it's needed most. This comes after the LCL Spring Split was called off indefinitely for League of Legends as well as many other organisers for various tournaments and titles have all been postponed due to the ongoing conflict.
