Drewbie takes first North American ZOTAC Cup

Zotac Cup #1 had its first run on the NA server, and with a turnout of 237 out of the 512 possible players. Quite a few big names made an appearance, including col.Stalife, ROOT.Drewbie, ROOT.Catz, FXOpTiKzErO, and more.

The semifinals saw ROOT.Catz vs. ROOT.Slush, and ROOT.Drewbie face off against ONEGatored. This resulted in an all team ROOT Finals with ROOT.Slush facing off against ROOT.drewbie for the first and second place, and ROOT.Catz against ONEGatored for third and fourth place.

The third and the fourth places were taken by ONEGatored and ROOT.Catz, respectively.

The finals saw a great Terran vs. Zerg Bo5 that went all the way to the ace match. In the end, the valiant defiance of the Zerg player ROOT.Slush was to no avail and ROOT.Drewbie took the series, 3-2.
