Roster Changes in the European HoN Scene

In the aftermath of the Digital Youth Awards and DreamHack Winter it became apparent that these 2 major LAN events were effectively in some cases the glue holding certain teams together. Massive roster changes have been occuring as of late and GosuGamer's presents you an update article including statements from majority of the parties involved.

Druidz Qpad: Disbandment

In a shocking move by the DreamHack Winter runners-up, core player twiSta decided to quit the team and the other starters decided to follow him to form YouMadBrah [YOU], leaving team captain Revyy behind without a team. GosuGamer's approached both sides to hear their side of the story.

Sweden [YOU] twiSta
It was more that I left Druidz and the rest of the guys decided to follow me and leave Revyy behind due to me and Revyy having internal issues before DH, at DH and after DH. which led to me leaving the team, and Soender, Nishkea and Louie decided to follow me and create a new team. There has never been any personal issues between me and Revyy, i still count him as a friend, been mostly in game issues and arguments which we seemed to not agree on and which also led to us performing somewhat badly in some of the games. We will be continuing to play professionally and we also have a sponsor waiting on us to finish our 5 man line up, who will be our 5th still remains to be seen but our team after the DH experience is growing stronger and we hope to give all the top teams a run for their money. All I can say regarding our new 5th is that he’s known in the HoN community and we have played with that person in the past.

In response to all this Revyy answered in an interview with GameReplays and here was his response.

Sweden [Wahl] Revyy
Well I am still not really sure what happened. At Dreamhack everything was jolly good. When I got home on Sunday Twista had apparently made up his mind to leave the team. We've had some disputes in the past, but I sort of thought that was over with. Anyhow he left and I was getting ready to start finding a new 5th. It turned out though that the rest of the team wasn't interested in that and that they wanted to take some time to think about things. 1 hour later they tell me that they want to play competitively with Twista instead, so I guess that technically I was thrown out on my ass. I'm not really mad though, it's their choice to make, but I am a bit disappointed, since I sacrificed so much for that team. I do however wish them luck in the future with their new team.

Few days after the incident, Revyy was seen scrimming with former rivals Team Wahlin and has officially tagged up and joined their roster. Here's what Team Wahlin's leader Noez had to say about the issue:

Sweden [Wahl] Noez
I think Revyy will be perfect for our roster, since we really need a sixth player to be able to scrim more and play in more tournaments. Another reason is that Revyy has valuable experience from the HoN scene and can bring in some new strategic ideas along with a great amount of in-game skills. Revyy can play almost any given role, but he will mainly play semi-carry or ganker (feed with pebbles).

In light of all these events here are the latest rosters for both teams:

Online Kingdom: Loses 2 key players

On the other hand, it became known to the community that Online Kingdom has lost 2 key players in the form of SemiJew and Black after their trip to Singapore. Black rejoins his old compatriot from OK.DotA, XoYnoZnU at TS-Gaming under the leadership of PapaDrayich. Here's what both of them had to say about the matter:

Germany [TSoG] Black
I got the opportunity to get to know the guys from TSoG in Singapore and we hit it off well. I have been missing my old friend XoYnoZnU from the OK.DotA days a lot and now I’ve gotten the chance to play with him and my new great friends in TSoG.

Sweden [TSoG] PapaDrayich
I still don’t know what the situation in the team will be after Black joins. When we compete we’re gonna compete with our five best players or five available players. Sometimes this will come down to me having to make a decision, sometimes it will just work out automatically. But Black will directly take a place in main lineup. TSoG has always been a Swedish team, and we have used players that we have close relationships too. That’s one of the reasons that adding Black might seem odd. But after meeting him at DYA I’ve completely changed my mind about things, and one of those things was the ability to have a multi-national line up. Black is a great guy, and his in-game performance is just awesome!

SemiJew on the other hand, has most recently officially joined Dirty Minds, a team which now boasts a huge amount of talent, having added former MSI and KD player kay` before this into a lineup with already established players such as LoLQoP, Era and WehSing. SemiJew reveals that his decision to leave Online Kingdom was long made before the trip to Singapore, while team captain Mag1X confirms that he was aware of the team's situation all along.

Denmark [DM] SemiJew
Well in fact, it’s no news to OK that I left, but to the community of course. I told Mag1X about 1 month ago that I was going to leave. I didn’t like our teamwork nor team spirit. We’ve been around the subject several times in our teamspeak channel and it’s obviously that every team has people whining or people who have different ways of reacting to a bad or difficult game etc, but for me I’ve reached my limit a long time ago, I’ve simply had enough. I’m not saying OK didn’t have anything to offer, I’m just saying I didn’t like to be part of it. What I like the most is to turn around a game, and with no team spirit but people who are whining, yelling and raging, takes away my abilities to do so. So it doesn’t matter if it’s me being too sensitive or emotional or them actually being too harsh, it is not what’s supposed to be discussed, but either way something is not working out and hasn’t been for a long time, we took the trip to Singapore as a good exit.

Germany [OK] Mag1X
SemiJew decided to leave like 4 weeks ago, but some big events came up, and Black was just hanging out with TSoG at Singapore, so he joined them. In light of all this Kebap will be playing HoN more actively while SemiJew will continue to play for us for the World Cup. After the World Cup we will see, no idea for now.

This would probably explain Online Kingdom's lacklustre display at the Digital Youth Awards Finals. But on the bright side, we'll definitely be seeing more of Kebap, at least until the World Cup ends and the vacant spots are filled up.
