Chappie sets sail for SEA; joins Clutch Gamers

Vladimir 'Chappie' Kuzmenko made a geographic relocation, joining up with SEA team Clutch Gamers as their new carry player.

Chappie was relegated to the bench in the Team Empire roster November 1st as Airat 'Silent' Gaziev stepped into his role. The team had a rough start in Dota Pro Circuit, failing to qualify for any of this year’s Minors or Majors so far. They had hoped that the change in roster would produce better results for them moving forward.

The same story seemed to hold true for Clutch Gamers. Following TI7, the organization brought on boad three new players - Jio " Jeyo" Madayag, Marvin " Boombacs" Rushton and Mac "MAC" Tan but also were not able to find themselves with any results or notable achievements for the new Pro Circuit season.

With Jeyo and Boombacs being veterans of the regiona, MAC was a relatively unknown player outside the region who had shown promising skill and talent locally. In the end, it seems that the team decided to seek out a more experienced player to carry the team moving forward and set their sights on the famed, available CIS player.

The SEA region has seen an influx of imported players from Western countries over the last several months including Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao, Johan "pieliedie" Åström, Steve "Excalibur" Ye,  Sivatheeban "1437" Sivanathapillai, Danny "Noia" Junget, Alaan "SexyBamboe" Faraj, Andrey "Mag~" Chipenko, Feras "Feero" Hroob, Mohammad "AfrOmoush" Abu Al Eis and Khaled "sQreen" El-Khabbash - some with more success than others.

Clutch Gamers roster:

Russia Vladimir ''Chappie' Kuzmenko
Philippines Armel Paul 'Armel' Tabios
Philippines Kenneth "Flysolo " Coloma
Philippines Marvin 'Boombacs' Rushton
Canada Jio 'Jeyo' Madayag
