Synderen’s and w33’s stacks start to shake after failing to pass through a couple of open qualifiers.
MidOrFeed, Aliwi 'w33' Omar stack lost their captain after Martin 'Saksa' Sazdov decided to take a short break from the competitive scene. MoF reached the SL i-League Invitational season 3 open qualifiers grand finals but lost the series 2-0 to SFTe-sports (Illidan’s stack), the AMD SAPPHIRE Dota Pit opens semifinals, and just recently reached the CIS+Europe league play qualifier leg for the DreamLeague Season 8 Major. Despite being in the DreamLeague league play, the team is now looking for a new position 5 support as Saksa announced his decision of taking some time off, on the 25th of September.
Rumors are that Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen might be replacing Saksa as his team Steak Gaming fell apart. SyndereN’s stack for the new season, featuring Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu, Jonas 'jonassomfan' Lindholm, and Simon 'Handsken' Haag struggled in all the open qualifiers they entered this month, with their best result being a top 16 in the DreamLeague Season 8 opens. The team disbandment was confirmed by Era on twitter:
While MoF haven’t been playing any official with their replacement for Saksa yet, the three ex Steak Gaming members Era, Handsken, and Jonassomfan played in the AMD SAPPHIRE Dota Pit open qualifiers but lost in the quarterfinals to TOD, a stack featuring Khaled 'sQreen' El-Khabbash, and Turtoi 'Arise' Ionut.
There’s one week left until the post TI7 shuffle will officially close, on the 3rd of October, and quite a few open qualifiers on the horizon. If MoF will be able to settle a final roster and if the ex SyndereN stack members will find a team to call home in time, it remains to be seen.
