ESL One Hamburg 2017 announces the teams from each region who have received a direct invited to the closed qualifiers.
The final six spots available for the first major of the 2017-2018 season will be up for grabs as ESL One Hamburg 2017 announces its direct invites for the closed qualifiers in each region. Twelve teams from each region – Europe, CIS, South America, North America, South East Asia and China, will fight it out in the qualifiers and the winning team from each region will claim their spot at ESL Hamburg’s main event. With 8 teams directly invited to the closed qualifiers and 4 coming in from the open qualifiers, ESL Hamburg is sure to get the Dota 2 season off to a great start.
While Team Liquid, The International 2017 champions, and Newbee were directly invited to the main event, the teams directly invited to the closed qualifiers from each region are as follow;
