Effect reveals new roster; Brings on Mag and welcomes back Sedoy

The CIS team Effect has brought on board Andrey "Mag" Chipenko and welcomed back Vadim "Sedoy" Musorin to the mix just in time for the new season and PGL Open Bucharest Minor open qualifiers.

In July, Igor "Maden" Modenov and Aleksey "Nongrata" Vasilyev had parted ways with Effect, leaving behind two vacant positions to fill. According to the manager, Alexandr "BatyaRampage" Kolos, the team went through several candidates to find the best possible fit, a process that took two months.

The team turned to veteran player Mag, who had most recently tried his hand in the SEA region for Mineski last season. They then welcomed back Sedoy who had previously played with the team earlier in 2017 before heading out to Cyber Anji which dissolved only a month after his arrival.

Finally, after a huge post-TI7  shuffle we have something to show (...) Andrei and Vadim are a powerful reinforcement in terms of experience and wisdom gained over many years, and I am sure that we will soon show a worthy game.

-Arseniy "ArsZeeqq" Usov, Team Captain

The team has already headed over to the organization's bootcamp house and will be preparing to play in the upcoming qualifiers and events over the next few weeks. They have already made their debut earlier today in the PGL Open Bucharest Minor CIS open qualifiers, so far with a positive record.

Effect roster:

Russia Vadim 'Sedoy' Musorin
Russia Andrey 'Afoninje' Afonin
Ukraine Andrey 'Mag' Chipenko
Russia Arseniy 'ArsZeeqq' Usov
Russia Rinat 'KingR' Abdullin
