The Swedish special guests have emerged into the Grand Finals of the Final Match LAN in Peru undefeated in both group and playoff brackets.
Coming into the Final Match 2017 as one of three overseas direct invite teams, Alliance have shown pure dominance in South America from start to finish so far. A 3:0 record in the group stage - having defeated local heroes and TI7 bound Infamous, Alliance was seeded into the top brackets to face MVP Revolution.
Two consecutive 2:0 sweeps looked like child's play for the Swedes and should serve as a blaring horn of alarm for whichever opponent that will cross their path in the Grand Finals.
A long day waits ahead for potential contenders as almost the entire lower brackets are left to still play out. Only Midas Club Elite from Brazil have been eliminated so far. Local favorites Infamous, Thunder Awaken and Elite Wolves still have a chance to step up to the plate and give local fans hope for a Peruvian champion.
For all of the remaining teams it's an uphill battle as with each clash elimination is hanging overhead.
