Despite a worrisome start of the day for Team Secret who had to postpone their series against OG due to Yapzor’s health issues,  the evening brought them a big victory over the four times Major Champions and a secured spot into the playoffs.

The recent disastrous Manila Masters result for Team Secret might have awaken something in Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, one of the most appreciated captains in the professional scene. Team Secret just came from Manila with a 7th-8th place finish which puts them no way near a direct TI 7 invite. With Evil Geniuses taking the Manila Masters trophy, OG - fresh winners of yet another Major, Virtus Pro runners up at the Kiev Major and a very good performance so far in Moscow, Newbee reaching the grand finals of Manila Masters and securing the Zotac Cup Championship, EPICENTER is the biggest chance for Team Secret to prove themselves.

At the end of three series played in Group A, Team Secret is undefeated, with a perfect 6-0 game score and 9 points, tied in points with LGD Forever Young. The last series, scheduled to be played tomorrow, June 8, is exactly between these two teams who will fight for the top seed spot of the group. Winners of the group secures a spot into the playoffs single elimination bracket semifinals while the second placed team will play against Invictus Gaming in the quarterfinals.

With Teams Secret, LFY and Team Liquid already advanced into the playoffs, two teams were left on the outside from Group A. OG finishes their EPICENTER run with only one victory in the group stage, while Na’Vi exits the event without a single win. We won’t be seeing OG playing again until The International 7 where they will surely get a direct invite from Valve, but Na’Vi will continue to fight and accumulate tournament experience with the new roster next week, at Dota Summit 7.
