Team NP have received their second direct invite for the new season - heading to Taipei, Taiwan to battle it out in the Zotac Cup Masters first premier LAN event.
With $100,000 prize pool on the line, the squad will compete at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei against ex- Cloud 9, Invictus Gaming, Stan, Fnatic, Warriors Gaming.Unity, NP and one other invited team yet to be announced.
As the event will take place May 30- June 3rd, NP will be competing at Manila Masters in the Philippines from May 26-28th - making for a very busy week of high level clashes as they fight for a championship title and a potential nod from Valve.
Earlier this month NP made a surprising, yet fan pleasing roster change for the upcoming season. Jacky "Eternal Envy" Mao had rejoined forces with Johan 'pieliedie' Åström and Adrian 'FATA-' Trinks bringing much hype and promise for the lineup. Making their debut just two days later for the Summit 7 and EPICENTER regional qualifiers, the team impressed as was expected. In just under two short weeks together, the team already commanded the attention of the top teams and organizers, receiving a direct invite to Manila Masters and staking their claim at the Summit 7. Now, one week later, they have been bestowed another invite and continued praise.
