Team Secret has been bestowed a direct invite for the Summit 7 taking place next month. The European squad rounds out the shortlist, leaving teams to battle it out for any open spots.
Originally slated to have four direct invites, organizers have confirmed that only three teams will most likely end up invited and another qualifier spot will be opened up soon.
With that, the European squad will then claim the final invite and will be heading out to Sunny California with their show stealing potential.
A strong performance in the group stage of the Kiev Major put the Team Secret at the top with a flawless 3:0 record. Unfortunately, theirs was a false promise of hope as they dropped out of contention in the first round of the main event at the hands of the Brazilian wonders SG e-Sports.
Famously always on display, the team moved out of the Spring season looking to recapture their former glory.
Days ago the organization made the first move in the roster shuffles for the new season. Parting ways with Johan "pieliedie" Åström after two years, the squad picked up Yazied "YapzOr" Jaradat, most recently from team B)ears.

Summit 7
Announced to take place once again in the Los Angeles area, The Summit 7 LAN playoffs will take place just a few weeks before The International 7, from June 14 to 18. Eight teams - invited and qualified- will be competing for a slice of the $100,000 prize pool.
So far, Virtus.Pro and VGJ have already confirmed their attendance while Clutch Gamers seized the qualifier spot for SEA. EU, NA and Chinese qualifiers are only just beginning with teams getting ready to engage in some fierce competitions.
