In what seems to be a continuation of the recent 7.03 patch, Valve deployed a new game update that brings more nerfs to the current meta heroes.
A week after the release of the Bladeform Legacy patch that got Monkey King into Captain’s Mode and brought significant adjustments to Centaur Warrunner, KotL, and Lifestealer, the new 7.04 targets the aforementioned heroes once again, plus a couple of others as well.
Centaur Warrunner’s Aghanim’s Scepter upgrade was nerfed in 7.03 from 60% damage reduction to 50%, but with the new patch his ultimate without the Scepter got also nerfed. Lifestealer, who got his base damage reduced by three a week ago, got more points cut, while Keeper of the Light, who suffered Mana Leak nerfs in 7.03, also got his base damage reduced from 43-57 to 43-50.
A few other heroes however, were blessed with important buffs: Razor, Death Prophet and Broodmother all got some more boosts in 7.04 after they got buffed last week as well.
Broodmother
7.03 changes:
- Level 15 Talent increased from +250 Health to +325
- Level 20 Talent increased from +50 Attack Speed to +70
- Level 20 Talent increased from +8 Spiders Attack Damage to +12
7.04 changes:
- Insatiable Hunger lifesteal increased from 60/90/120% to 60/100/140%
- Insatiable Hunger damage increased from 60/90/120 to 60/100/140
Death Prophet
7.03 changes:
- Level 10 Talent increased from +4% Spell Amplification to 5%
- Level 10 Talent increased from +8% Magic Resistance to +10%
- Level 20 Talent increased from +25 Movement Speed to +50
- Level 25 Talent increased from +400 Health to +600
- Level 25 Talent increased from +6 Exorcism Spirits to +8
7.04 changes:
- Death Prophet: Level 10 Talent increased from +10% Magic Resistance to +12%
- Death Prophet: Exorcism spirit damage increased from 55 to 58
Razor
7.03 changes:
- Level 10 Talent increased from +15 Movement Speed to +20
- Level 10 Talent increased from +10 Agility to +15
- Eye of the Storm Scepter now hits shrines instead of ignoring them
7.04 changes:
- Razor: Level 20 Talent increased from +30 Attack Speed to +40
- Razor: Level 20 Talent increased from +275 Health to +325
And of course, not only heroes got touched by the 7.04 update but also some of the items, the most important to note being the recipe of Hurricane Pike Pike which got its price increased from 250 gold to 500. Likewise, the Silver Edge recipe cost was increased from 300 to 500 gold. The full list of updates can be found here.
