The Russian football club is set to make its entry into the eSports scene, featuring XBOCT, yoky- and a trio from Commanche.
FC Anji, a Russian based football club, announced at the start of this month the formation of a Dota 2 roster based in the CIS Region which featured the return of Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich to Dota after a stint of half a year. Today, they announced the remaining members of their roster and revealed the names of the players who would join XBOCT in the team.
The squad features the trio from Commanche - a support duo of Evgeniy 'Chuvash' Makarov and Mikhail 'Misha' Agatov and Igor 'iLTW' Filatov in the midlane. The three players battled through the regional qualifiers of the CIS region for the Kiev Major and surprised many of their audiences with their commendable performance, but fell just short of qualifying for the playoffs. The roster also features the talented Maxim 'yoky-' Kim returning to the offlane position that he used to play back in his days with Virtus Pro. Returning to the carry role which won Natus Vincere the first edition of the International, is XBOCT who had been a seemingly indefinite break from competitive Dota 2 after he left Fantastic Five back in September.
