The first official eSports organization in Egypt, the Gamers Lounge, are about to kick off their third edition of WinterCup with free registration for all the Egyptian teams interested to test their strength in a competitive environment.
Gamers Lounge WinterCup III (GLWC) is endorsed by the Electronic Federation of Electronic Games and aims to “support and prepare the teams from the middle-east scene to compete internationally”, said Hashem El Bornou, co-founder of Gamers Lounge Egypt to GosuGamers.
GLWC III will start with single elimination qualifiers brackets, teams registrations being already open and will remain so up until March 5. However, keep in mind that registrations are restricted to Egyptian teams only. Top eight teams from the playoffs round will advance into the LAN Finals, which will be held on the 8th of April at the Ministry of Sport and Youth Theatre from Giza, Egypt.

Qualifiers:
- Registrations are open until 5th of March
- Participants must be residents of Egypt
- Single elimination bracket
- Top 32 advance into the playoffs
Playoffs
- Single elimination bracket until Round of 8
- LAN Finals on the 8th of April
- Double elimination bracket
- Prize pool: EGP 25,000
GLWC will be covered in Arabic language mainly, during the qualifiers stage, but once the playoffs will start, it is expected that the event will have English commentary as well.
